Background

With speciality across the Three Lines of Defense, Human Resources and Corporate Communications, Anna is skilled in finding forward-thinking talent who can translate complex technical issues into tangible, commercial and cutting-edge solutions for senior functional and C-suite leadership teams.

Hedley May’s culture of mentorship and development that encourages continued personal and professional growth has enabled Anna to focus on her passion for diversity, equity and inclusion. As a leader of Hedley May’s Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee, Anna drives many of the firm’s diversity initiatives, including advising clients on creating wider and more inclusive talent pipelines.

Anna’s passion for diversity and opportunity is realized  in her committed and long-standing relationship with the Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice. She chairs the Auxiliary Board and works directly with students, most of whom come from underserved communities, as they prepare for college and future careers.  She has designed interview skills and resume-writing workshops, organized fundraising for summer programming and supports on-going mentorship opportunities for the students.

Anna graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond with a BA in Art History and Sociology and a concentration in Urban Practice and Policy.

Hedley May is the power of its people. We work hard to create a culture in which everyone feels valued, are supported to thrive, and can live the values we believe in. We know the search for great people is driven by great people.

The Belonging Project

We launched the Belonging Project, conducting over 100 interviews globally with a diverse range of people. Our research reaffirmed our core belief: organizations that create a strong sense of Belonging are more successful – in business, employee satisfaction and longevity. Belonging is the proven cornerstone of success.

When we founded Hedley May, we made a commitment to make a positive impact on our broader communities. We focus on providing opportunity to the underserved through mentorship, internships, workshops and other career development initiatives.
