Anthony co-founded Hedley May in 2009, convinced that an executive search firm should offer its clients a much greater level of strategic insight and competitive advantage.
He has advised major professional services firms, multinational corporates, financial institutions and government entities on search, strategic consultancy and leadership for the last 25 years.
He is particularly respected for his knowledge of the global legal market, working with the world’s leading law firms on many of their most complex organizational and competitive challenges including mergers, strategic investments, culture change and reward models.
Anthony is fascinated by the critical role functional leaders play in driving the success of scaled professional services firms and has written one of the most comprehensive reports on the subject. He is passionate about motivation in leadership and completed the Meyler Campbell Mastered Coaching Program in 2019.
Anthony began his career in corporate finance with a leading US bank in London and New York and has an MSc in History and Philosophy of Science from St John’s College, University of Cambridge.
