Christine joined Hedley May to help create a Board & CEO Practice with values in line with what she believes will be key in successful future business leaders – empathy and courage. She brings over 10 years’ experience of specializing in Non-Executive Board search and has worked on multiple Non-Executive Director, Committee Chair and Chair of the Board appointments across sectors, with a strong focus on large cap FTSE businesses. Her track record is highly international, placing candidates from the US, Africa, Continental Europe and Asia on Boards.
Christine brings particular expertise about the Board Directors of tomorrow, whether that is around the skills that is needed to serve on and lead the high performing Boards of tomorrow or her knowledge of the pool of future Board Directors. She is passionate about bringing fresh and diverse thinking to Hedley May’s Board searches, uncovering and building relationships with new Board talent from different backgrounds, including those with different life experiences and the technology community.
She feels called to challenge with courage and advise with empathy – recognizing the opportunity for Executive Search to be a force for Good in how the Corporate world engages with Society at large.
Prior to her executive search career, Christine worked in investment management, and she started her career at Deloitte Consulting in South Africa. She qualified as a Chartered Company Secretary through ICSA. Christine holds B.Com Law, LLB and B.Com Honours Business Management degrees from the University of Pretoria.
