With over 20 years of international search experience, Giles acts as a senior advisor and counsel to Chairs, CEOs and HR Directors. His focus tends towards major organisational change and transformation, growth agendas, IPOs and crisis restructuring.
Giles is a trusted partner to clients in both the UK and Asia, supporting strategic thinking on global talent management and succession planning. He believes that organisations, now more than ever, need leaders who can drive performance and culture in a purpose driven way. He has played a lead role in accelerating and developing clients’ thinking around diversity and corporate social responsibility issues. He is passionate about improving social mobility and is a mentor for Making the Leap.
An economist by background, Giles spent his early career with The Economist and the Economist Intelligence Unit. He holds an MA in Middle East Politics and Arabic from the University of Durham and a BA in International Relations and Hispanic Studies from the University of Aberdeen.
