Karen joined Hedley May in 2017 to create a market-leading and genuinely future-focused HR practice operating across Europe, the US and Asia. Karen is dedicated to finding the most transformative HR leaders with the skillsets to outperform not just in the economy of today, but also meeting the demands of tomorrow.
With unparalleled experience of identifying outstanding Chief HR Officers and their direct reports across all the key centers of excellence, Karen is recognized for her ability to make the most senior executive appointments spanning financial services, corporates and professional services.
This includes ‘New World’ areas such as Workforce Planning & Analytics, Employee Experience and Culture & Conduct. In addition, Karen leads the Marketing and Communications practice across a multi-sector client base.
Having graduated from Aberdeen University with an MA (Hons) in Psychology, Karen’s early career was in HR, where she gained formative experience in retail before leading the UK HR practice of Russell Reynolds. She then went on to establish the HR practice of a boutique executive search firm.
