Luke joined the Board & CEO practice with over ten years’ experience in financial services search, covering all forms of banking, insurance, and asset and wealth management. He advises on Board, CEO and key functional and business leadership roles for public and private organisations in the UK, Europe, the US and Asia.
Prior to joining Hedley May, Luke spent six years acting for some of the world’s largest corporations and financial institutions on Chair, Non-Executive Director, CEO and CFO appointments. Before this, he spent five years at a boutique insurance search firm, with a particular focus on general insurance, specialty lines, and life and retirement.
In addition to search work, he has worked extensively on board effectiveness, succession planning, talent mapping, and leadership assessment and development.
An inclusive culture that celebrates different ways of working towards a shared goal is what attracted Luke to Hedley May.
He has a BSc in Natural Sciences from Durham University.
