Suzanne came to Hedley May in 2019 to join a value-centered organization which prioritizes diversity and inclusion and is driven by empathy and courage.

She began her career as a trial attorney before becoming the Recruiting & Training Manager for a Fortune 500 Company. This combination of experience gives her a deep understanding of the qualities that make attorneys successful.

Suzanne is passionate about improving the lives of women, children and families in New York City.  An active volunteer with the Junior League for over 20 years, Suzanne served as President of the Junior League of the City of New York (NYJL) from 2016 to 2018.  One of her proudest accomplishments was launching the NYJL’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, which is focused on promoting diversity, equity and inclusion both within the organization and in the broader New York City community.  Outside of the NYJL, Suzanne has also served on the Board of the Isaacs Center and continues to serve on its Scholarship Committee where she takes great pleasure in assisting low-income students fulfill their dreams of attending college. Suzanne holds a JD from the Seattle University School of Law and graduated with a BS in Political Science from the University of Utah.

When we founded Hedley May, we made a commitment to make a positive impact on our broader communities. We focus on providing opportunity to the underserved through mentorship, internships, workshops and other career development initiatives. We are also dedicated advocates and supporters of numerous social mobility programs.
