Eleanor joined Hedley May in 2010, shortly after the company was founded, and has established herself as a key member of both Legal and HR practices, with a specialist and market leading expertise in the appointment of Reward Directors. She has advised publicly quoted and private equity clients across a wide range of sectors including financial services, industrial, utilities, media, retail and travel and worked on numerous high-profile appointments for General Counsel, Company Secretaries, HR Directors, HR Leadership Team members and Chief Compliance Officers across the UK and Europe.

A passionate advocate for Diversity and Inclusion, Eleanor has established a broad network of best-in-class female talent and in her speaking engagements focuses on helping up-and-coming professionals prepare for more influential leadership roles.

Eleanor has also pioneered flexible working and shared parental leave at Hedley May, alongside coaching returning mothers back into the workforce. She is a dedicated champion of dual career families, keen to support clients and candidates who share her vision of an outcomes-focused, flexible future.

Eleanor started her career in retail with Marks & Spencer, holding store management roles after graduating from Newnham College, University of Cambridge with an MA in History.
